Highgate
Hall
Naomi, Highgate Hall is a first stage
abstinence-based residential rehabilitation project for up
to 9 women. It offers an intensive, structured group work
programme for women dealing with addiction and underlying
issues.
The group work programme creates an environment where women
feel safe enough to explore repeating life patterns which
are no longer helpful, moving them to a new life free from
addiction.
Highgate Hall is a Georgian property found in the centre of
the village of Hawkhurst, Kent. The project has been
recently completely refurbished and is well appointed with
modern facilities. Women attending the project will be
encouraged to integrate into community and village life.
The main components of the holistic programme are:
• Addressing addiction issues
• Individual care plans
• Group therapy
• Key working
• Family work/therapy where appropriate
• Weekly objective setting
• Personal goal setting
• Spiritual awareness linked to 12 Steps
• Life skills
• Leisure activities
• Building self esteem
• Compliance with court orders
The programme operates by encouraging shared responsibility
and client involvement in programme design. This ensures a
constantly evolving and dynamic programme which is designed
to run over 6 months.
Family therapy work will provide the opportunity for the
development of positive and healthy relationships. The
project will pro-actively support women as they seek to
resettle back into communities.
